Jenipher Carol Tairo

Founder & CEO

Jenipher Carol Tairo is the Founder and CEO of GESGEMO, a highly motivated and accomplished leader in the field of Agriculture. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Crop Science. Jenipher has a wealth of experience in leadership, having served as the Prime Minister of the Sokoine University of Agriculture Students Organisation (SUASO) (2019/20) and as the Head Girl of Felix Mrema Secondary School. She has also held positions as a school librarian at Tabora Girls High School and as the leader of various clubs, including Malihai Club, Roots & Shoos, PCCB, Girl Guides, and AIDS Club. Jenipher is passionate about leadership, public speaking, capacity building, motivating and inspiring others, farming, writing articles and books, reading, and photography.

Paul David Kisena

Operation Manager

Paul David Kisena is the Operation Manager at GESGEMO, bringing his expertise in food science and technology to the organization. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology. Paul’s passion for leadership led him to serve as the former Minister of Affiliation for the Sokoine University of Agriculture Students Organization (SUASO). With a strong background in leadership and food science, Paul is dedicated to driving the operations of GESGEMO towards achieving its mission and vision.

Rose Japhet Nanyaro

Member

Rose Japhet Nanyaro is a Horticulturist and a former delegate of the judicial organ of the Sokoine University of Agriculture Students Organisation (SUASO) in 2019/2020. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture, which she obtained from  Sokoine University of Agriculture. With her education and experience, Rose has developed a keen interest in the agricultural sector and is passionate about ensuring sustainable and efficient farming practices. She is dedicated to making a positive impact in her community and beyond.

Godwin Johnson Matiko

Member

Godwin Johnson Matiko is a passionate leader with expertise in project administration and coordination. With a B.Sc. in Food Science and Technology, he has a keen interest in food quality and safety systems. Godwin’s leadership background includes serving as a Project Administrator for SUGECO-USADF and as a Project Coordinator for SAEI. He was also a former member of USRC-SUASO and the General Secretary of his high school. Godwin’s interests in gender, mental health, and mindset transformation inspire him to make a difference in the lives of others.

Zakia Seif Madongo

Zakia Seif Madongo is an accomplished professional with a background in Occupational Therapy. She holds a Diploma in the field and has gained valuable knowledge and skills from her education. Zakia is an ambitious individual with a passion for leadership and community development. She has been involved in various leadership roles, including being a member of the Students Organization of Felix Mrema Secondary School, where she actively participated in community outreach programs. With her expertise and leadership skills, Zakia is determined to make a positive impact in Tanzania and the world at large.
